End of project

Dear reader,

The COHSMO project is closing down. The project was originally planned to last from May 2017 to April 2021. However, Covid-19 related lock-downs in most countries delayed or made interviews and contact more difficult and, as a result, the project was prolonged by half a year. Thanks to digitalization, we managed to accomplish the project as intended from the start. A deep thanks to all partners and advisory boards members as well as the many informants and interviewees for their efforts.

Although the project has ended, the results and reports will be available here at the COHSMO website until the end of 2026.

COHSMO Handbook and story map

You can find here the COHSMO Handbook in which the COHSMO researchers have examined some of the member state policies and initiatives that seem to work towards a vision similar to the EU vision for a territorially cohesive Union. In the handbook, you can read 21 case studies carried out in seven European countries: Austria, Denmark, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Poland and the United Kingdom.

You can also read more about the project, in the COHSMO story map, in which the COHSMO-cases are described
